Nothing too out of the ordinary. Don't most defending champs get a rematch clause against the challenger?

this is just typical business and doesnt mean anything. I bet Canelo had one for Lopez or even if he fought a bum. It doesnt mean he thinks he's going to lose but anything can happen. What if he wins 12-0 but the judges give it to Trout? What if Trout wins on a bad cut even though Canelo was winning the fight? The bigger name will always get to cover themselves.

With all that being said, he knows its dangerous also. He 100% thinks he will win but they still know its a dangerous fight so if you have the means to enforce it then everyone will

that's because Canelo has a belt while Trout does not Canelo will still fight for WBA Champ if he wins

I really don't mind these rematch clauses.

Because if the winner beats his opponent bad enough, the loser won't even want a rematch lol

This isn't anything out of the ordinary. GBP is going to make the rematch regardless especially if 4/20 is a GREAT fight regardless of outcome. And it will cost $59.99 to watch.

How are people knocking Canelo for this? Both guys would take that PPV money. Don't feel bad for Trout.
