This is about control by GBP, they might lose that belt with Pederson and Matthyse fighting each other.

Belts obviously mean something to GBP, given the lengths they are going to so that they can hold on to them. GBP have de facto control over 9 of the 12 major titles between 140 and 154, and they're determined not to lose that control to anyone.

GBP fighters earned those belts. Why should they lose them just because they are now doing unification fights? It's like they are getting punished for giving the fans what they want.

The system is completely messed up.

nah...it was Lucas who REQUESTED that his WBA interim strap not be on the line...so Peterson responded by saying.. if his strap is not at stake why should mines?!?...so thats why we have this 141 bs....thanks Lucas....maybe the guy is not who ppl think he is...just saying!!

Marquez (Top Rank) is the WB0 champion. It would be interesting to see what he does in his next fight. He can fight Bradley (titleholder) at 147 and most likely vacates the WB0 title at 140. He can stay at 140 but like u say it would be hard for any top rank fighter to compete in that division.

wow Marquez still the champ huh? yeah I do hope he fights Bradley would be interested, and yes Bob would have a hard time getting a champ in that weight class.

You mean WBC and stop spreading that bs around. How can you take some dude who records his windshield seriously? Why didn't he show his face?

Until GB or the WBC release a statement that's all bull****.
