Mayweather's very good defensively, but that still doesn't take away from the fact that he's been fighting for 32 years.

Sure he gets hit the least amount out of all active fighters, but even the least amount of punches still equates to getting hit in the head at/around/at least 100 times a fight.

You figure at least 100+ punches to the head over 43 fights and you do the math. Whether they were jabs, hooks or power shots shouldn't matter. You're still getting hit by another professional athlete.
