Well since I erroneously left out No.3 on the list, I'd guess he'd fit. (now updated)

But seriously, I'm a fan but I think he needs to beat someone good in his weight class before he makes the top three. I'd have him at 5 or 6.

Vitali and Wladimir were both born in Kazakhstan although they are ethnic Ukrainians. A lot of Russians are Asian, like Pirog; naturally, a large part of Russia extends into Asia.
I have heard but have no proof that the Klitschko's have Asian blood.

Golvokin is a European Russian and not unlike former champions like the very decent Vassily Jirov his family moved to Kazakhstan due to a deliberate, political Russification programme run by the former Soviet Union.

Geographically Kazakhastan is clearly not part of Europe, but a very large percentage of its population is made-up of Russians, Georgians, Ukrainians, Balts and Armenians who are ethncially and culturally Europeans.

Vitali should be taken off the list, fighting garbage opponents and ducking fights doesn't put you in the top 10 IMO.

Now why I'm not surprised you wrote that comment?

Khan have a better resume than some of those guys. Why you didnt include him? He is still good and a world class boxer.

He has officially lost 2 of his last three bouts. There is a case for his inclusion though, granted.

                    Russians are European?

No, they're parents were both ethnic Ukranians (Slavic), their father was a Soviet Air Force officer serving in a Soviet military base in Kazakhstan. It was only by coincidence that they were born there. However, there are many ethnic Slavs in Kazakhistan because of the Soviet/Russian Empire era and most people there are of mixed heritage.
