Good point. I know for a fact that all the countries you mentioned compete in UEFA (European soccer) World Cup qualifying and club soccer championships.
Vitali and Wladimir were both born in Kazakhstan although they are ethnic Ukrainians. A lot of Russians are Asian, like Pirog; naturally, a large part of Russia extends into Asia.Comment

Europe is part of Asia, as it's all the same landmass. The UK can be considered separate in that sense.Comment

Although GGG is a Kazakh, he holds a EU passport because technically he was born in Europe. Kazakhstan was a part of the Soviet Union, and didn't gain independance from USSR till 1991.Comment

lol, well okay since he holds an EU passport, where do you put him on the list?
Not sure how that works, since Africa is attached to Europe/Asia by land.Comment

It is, but it's a relatively small sliver of land connecting two separate huge land masses.
That's if you want to look at land. If you want to separate regions culturally then that's different.Comment

Haha, well not sure I'd have him on it myself, as I said he's European by way of a "technicality"! But if I did, I'd put him 3rd on your list behind FrochComment
