Huge mismatch alright. Golovkin is way too strong for Martinez. He will have maravilla kissing the canvas. GGG has great timing to deal with the Martinez speed advantage. Would love to see Martinez or Chavez Jr step up to the GGG challenge.

No way man, Floyd Pac would have been an all time PPV record. As big of a fight this would be on message boards, I doubt they put it on PPV even

Damn, some of these comments make me embarrassed that I even post here. You guys lost in your GGG lust should be thankful that he's not fighting Ward just yet. Ward would work like a technician and shatter your GGG wet dreams forever. I think Golovkin is badass and love watching him fight but some of the comments here are not only ******, they're just dishonest from fans that are secretly glad this fight isn't happening yet.

Golovtardism is surpassing p-a-ctardism by leaps n bounds... Andre Ward destroys Golovkin easily. Matter fact Golovkin won't even beat Carl Froch.

I really like GGG but Ward makes him look like a fool and stops him i also think Froch stops him.

Golovkin's team would have to be completely ******ed to let him fight Ward any time soon. Going from fighting semi-bums to a guy that's p4p #1 or 2, at a higher weight class, would be ridiculous.

IF he unifies the MW division, has a couple of impressive title defenses and Ward is still at SMW, then they can start THINKING about it. Until then... No, just... No.

And oh, I'm a fan of Golovkin.

I meant sportwise, I don't give a **** about PPV but I do about the sport. Now imagine two undisputed, undefeated, dominant champions fighting each other.Ward is a no 1 P4P fighter (yep, he surpassed Floyd right after Dawson's win) and GGG is a feared KO artist with fan friendly style They would put it on PPV and I think with proper promotion it would hit 1 milion.

I swear Golovkin is the new Pirog or something.

I remember after Pirog beat Jacobs everybody was all over Pirog, the only difference now is HBO is behind Golovkin.

I'm glad because when Martinez destroys Golovkin all the GGG fanatics will immediately flip and say he was the biggets hype job in HBO history.
