Nobody was saying that it's just the way you chose to interpret it

Here's is a prime example in black and white what I was referring to in the other thread when fans are so sensitive they read what they want to.

No one is saying Martinez should fight at 168, just that he's not small for 160 and could fight there and be solid.

Just as neither Judah or Garcia are small for 140.

But if I say "Judah and Garcia could fight at 147" would I get the same amassment of tears from you crying Martinez lovers? Saying "NO! HOW DARE YOU EVEN SUGGEST THAT?!?! THEY ARE SMALL JR WELTERWEIGHTS!"

      I doubt it.

        Exactly.

Somehow, "Martinez could fight at 168" is interpreted as "Martinez is a huge MW and should fight at 168 and stop fighting smaller men"

        It's sad.

If history is any indication, then Garcia is going to demolish judah.

Garcia should be practicing his liver shot.

Well these two guys are considered average 140 pounders but they were extremely close to the 154 limit for the 30 day weigh in, Sergio at 170 didn't even come close to the 176 limit for the 30 day weigh-in and if you've seen his latest training footage he's not trim (yet) but carrying some extra body fat on him.

Yeah he could compete at 168 against guys like Abraham and Stieglitz, but unless he can beat the likes of Ward, Froch, Kessler or even Rodriguez (who rehydrated to 188 against Escalera) then it is not worthwhile at his late age. Otherwise he would be pulling a Mayweather at 154 stunt.

Which Judah shows up? Cause if the version that showed up against Khan does, he's getting put down with another body shot is my guess.

Well Garcia is quite a big JWW and will probably move up to WW soon enough. You have to remember Martinez has been 176 and 174 at 30 day weigh ins before and was 170 fight night vs Dzinziruk but anyway this discussion has been exhausted enough
                    sorry
