    Danny Garcia and Zab Judah appear to be on their way to making weight for their April 27 junior-welterweight title bout at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, according to figures provided by World Boxing Council official William Boodhoo.

    Garcia came in at 152 pounds on March 28, a figure certified by Dr. George Bonner, according to the WBC. Judah, meanwhile, came in at 153 pounds on March 27, a figure certified by Dr. Paul McHugh.

      They dont lose it. They are pretty much at their fighting weight but in the days approaching the fight, they dehydrate themselves for the weigh in, and then just drink water to get back to normal weight

        They'll probably be right around this weight for the fight. They will just sweat off the weight the 24-48 hours before the weigh in.

          Well, you gotta remember these guys are not trying to make weight, they very most likely would have had food before being weighed and of course were hydrated well

          I would imagine they would only have to lose around 5-6 pounds each if that, then not eat to make weight or not drink on the day etc

              Actually they are. There is a 10% limit at the 30 day weigh in, even tho the article doesnt say that. They had to make 154, so they are most likely cutting a a little water weight to make it

                  "The maximum either fighter could have been is 154 pounds. The WBC’s 30-day weigh-in requires fighters to be within 10 percent of the division limit."
