If they held it in Vegas it will do another million plus buys.

If it does a million or even 800k buys being a foreign based ppv I will be impressed.
The difference is more like 1 million instead of 1.5 million buys if they hold it overseas.

This will be the most anticipated fight of 2013. I know all you dudes are jaded, but guess what...Pac getting knocked out (KO of the year) in arguably the FOTY is a big deal and will bring in more viewers.

They don't come close to that. Just stop.

If JMM doesn't fight Pac then I see Pac-Rios and then JMM-Alvarado.

Marquez should retire before something goes terribly wrong. Its not worth it.

problem is though Alvarado currently doesn't hold any full belts. Alvarado did beat Rios for an Interim WBO 140lb title

but JMM already got upgraded to the full title holder for the WBO at 140.

"This will be the most anticipated fight of 2013." .. for who? Pacquiao-JMM already happened 4 previous times

if their 5th fight is the most anticipated, that's kind of the problem with boxing. I've enjoyed previous Pacquiao-Marquez bouts, but IMO it seems excessive to make a rematch to a fight Pac was previously KO'd cold

How do you know that pls Inlighten us

The UFC does wll because of the brand fans will buy every ppv but in boxing is harder for any event to get a decent ppv outside The US but MP vs JMM isn't
any event, it's the boxing event of the year so I think I'll do 1 mill buys depending how it promoted.

Anyone know some big ppv boxing events in the last years outside of the US and what did they do?

Arum wants to cash these guys out before they expire... if Arum show plays this fight both guys could potentially lose before they get together again. you gotta strike when the iron is hot... cause no one will pay to watch two over the hill guys fight... just like the RJJ/ Hopkins rematch bombed
