I'll bet you all your points Donaire wins.
Yes he looks bad against orthodox fighters who step back and jab, but Rigo is a southpaw who uses his right hand as a range finder, he's not a traditional boxer per say he's a guy who likes to counter with power shots, 90% of them with his left hand while his right hand is low. This will work in Donaire's favor. The closer this fight gets the more and more people are turning to Rigondeaux.
I've said it since day one its very well you looking at Donaire's knockouts and thinking these guys may or may not have a better chin but it don't always work like that & look at it from a stylistic standpoint.
If you go forward against a fighter like Donaire, that is perfect for him, especially if you're a sloppy brawler. However when Donaire is forced onto the front-foot hes a totally different fighter!
Tell me I'm wrong.
It looks like the left hook grazed him. Even if it did miss, Rigo's right hand was by his nuts, not good.Comment

Hes not looked spectacular against a mesh of styles.
Its all well and good hes seemingly open for a left hook, Donaires constantly open for every punch in the book.
When his right hand is low his shoulders there protecting his chin anyway and he has cat like reflexes and always maintains great balance. Every fighter gets hit from time to time.
His right isn't just a range finder, he has a very good jab he uses well to body & head. He dropped Marroquinn with a right hand, hurt Casey with a right to the body, nearly decapitated Noriega with a sweeping right hook.
The only fight hes looked a bit of a one-handed fighter in was against Kennedy who he absolutely toyed with.Comment
