Do you see HBO putting Ward into the spotlight like they did Broner?

Do you think HBO will try to make Ward a big time star?

I can already see it. In the mid/late 90s, Roy Jones didn't have the crowd/popularity like De La Hoya, but I remember it started improving with the casuals overtime. With the media the way it is now, I can see HBO really push for Ward to be a spotlight type of guy.

Mayweather isn't a casual fan type of a fighter, Hopkins, Jones, but they seem to have crossed the mainstream at some point.

Do you think Ward can accomplish the same?

I think Ward can do it, but he needs to select the right opponents.

I can see the GGG fight being a possible PPV fight in the near future.

Chavez Jnr, Martinez, Bute, Froch rematch. Who else can he fight to cross into the mainstream?

I hope so. A chavez Jr or GGG fight would be great for him

I see them putting him in the spotlight as soon as possible after Mayweather leaving and Pacquiaos questionable future.

Ward needs to be placed against action-packed / big name stars to breakthrough as a ppv like what they did with Pacquiao

I'd say he should fight Chavez Jr. this year or next and that will get more excitement from fans for Ward. Also, easy win too unless he gets caught like round 12 Martinez

They would love to, but Ward is in a tough weight

Well there are a lot of big name opponents in and around 168, imo it's just about fighting them in the right order.

                Kelly Pavlik
                Lucian Bute
                Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
                Bernard Hopkins
                Mikkel Kessler
                Jermaine Taylor
                Sergio Martinez
                Carl Froch
                Andre Dirrell
                Gennady Golovkin
                Jean Pascal

                  Kelly Pavlik - Retired
Lucian Bute - Would prefer a rematch with Froch for more money.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. - Not a 168 fighter yet
                  Bernard Hopkins - Not a 168 fighter
Mikkel Kessler - His future depends of his rematch with Froch
Jermaine Taylor - Not a 168 fighter and is shot as hell
                  Sergio Martinez - Not a 168 fighter
Carl Froch - Already beat him and Froch would prefer a rematch with Bute
Andre Dirrell - Mentally fragile, he's been semi retired for quite some time
                  Gennady Golovkin - Not a 168 fighter
                  Jean Pascal - Not a 168 fighter
