It's going to be a great fight and whenever two boxers step foot inside the ring you have to respect the fact that any of them can win. The problem for Rigondeaux is that Donaire is an all time great and currently pound for pound one of the best if not the best fighter in the world.

Wow, another person in the boxing world believes Rigondeaux's the greatest boxer ever. Also Freddie Roach says he's the greatest counter puncher ever and probably the greatest talent ever over Pacquiao.

Butler, who had come to Havana to film and interview other famed Cuban boxers, asked Hector Vinent -- himself a two-time gold medalist and a trainer at the gym -- who the man was, assuming Rigondeaux to be a local.

"That's the greatest boxer who ever lived," Vinent said.

"He's the best counterpuncher I've ever seen," Roach said of Rigondeaux, speaking by phone from his gym in Los Angeles. "When I did the pads with him, I simply could not get through his defense. I tried. I couldn't, though.

"On his first day in the gym, he wanted to spar with Manny Pacquiao," Roach laughed. "I didn't allow it. I don't want Manny getting that kind of work in sparring. Manny is a bit big for him, but he's an offensive guy and with countering like that, he was more work than I needed.

"He's one of the greatest talents I've ever seen," Roach said of Rigo.

Then the trainer pauses, considering his words.

            "Probably the greatest talent."

Donaire and Rigondeaux are better than all of them.

Rigondeaux has close to 400 wins as an amateur. Rigondeaux is the greatest amateur of all time and because of that you can make a case he's the greatest boxer in history.

When a fighter claims this and done nothing to prove it. I like to see them knocked out.
