Jim Watt needs to be sacked/retire

I don't mind or moan about biased commentary very often, I just mute or ignore it but he is so biased at times its hard to actually enjoy the action whilst listening to him.

He is an embarrassment to British boxing.

My brother doesn't follow boxing or know anything about the sport but he watched todays fights & was like ''Is that idiot serious?''
He gave Bellew 1 or 2 of the rounds where he actually landed literally zilch!

You may recall a round, 7 or 8 I think where Chilemba thoroughly outboxed Bellew, very lop-sided round, Bellew landed ONE bodyshot at the end of the round (it even looked low to me) and Jim Watt gave him the round for that shot.

I feel he only gave Chilemba the last round to make himself appear less biased rather than producing what would of been a 117-112 scorecard.

It wasn't just tonight, he does it everytime.

    He's clueless and always is.

    Halling was awful too.

In the round where he clearly hit Chilemba after the bell, Watt was like, "Good shot, definitely not after the bell" It was clearly after the bell.

The commentator's were awful and clearly heavily biased.

I went in rooting for Bellew but ended up rooting for Chilemba.

They were trying everything to build up bellew, they had the guy pumped up so much over the last week or so, Watt and Adam smith are silly sometimes but that's what you get with biase commentators.

I didn't watch the fight, but Jim Watt is one of my favourite commentators. If he was being the biased it's likely the television station encouraged him to be, as HBO is with Pacquiao.

Don't forget "Fancy dan" and "WORK" (Scottish accent)

That's about as far as his vocab goes

Sometimes I think he picks a fighter to win before the fight and just goes with it.

It's also sometimes as clear as day that he has never ever watched any of the fights of the guy he is commentating on.

i don't get upset over the cheerleading as much anymore, it's all too common in the sport at this point. i just can't get past that goddamn accent.

Jim Watt is a top commentator - doesn't sell himself out, and often gets called for giving home fighters a hard time. Anyone who's been 15 rounds with prime Arguello must know a bit.

As for Bellew, he disappointed big time. Two one paced and just a lack of variation in his work.

Jim Watt was poor tonight on the Bellew fight but I haven't really noticed him being that poor before.

I used think Kellerman was okay but I find his commentary very contrived and cringey now.
