GGG will probably stop him around 8, 9 or 10.
I'm thinking the same. I'm not sure Golovkin will stop him.

I hope GGG won't KO Ishida too quickly, I wanna enjoy the classy boxing by the champion.

Didn't Ishida drop James Kirkland with a jab? Two murderous punchers in a FOTY candidate here...

If you look at GGGs build his delts, traps, and lats are very defined. He mus work on those muscles very much for his power.
You can tell they tried to keep him from wasting time with building huge pecs or legs. They concentrated on the muscles used for punching.

Titles are garbage in terms of legitimacy but if you got one you'll make more money than if you don't (unless you're already a big name).

I'd love to see the best fight the best but it is called prize fighting. what Vera and Rubio aren't good enough? even Carlos Molina at 154 is willing to up and fight him. so let not act like nobody wants to fight him.
Macklin turned down GGG before he was talked about as a possible opponent for Chavez Jr (that fight is still not set in stone). Barker's promoter is on record saying he won't put his fighters in the ring with GGG because he's high risk-low reward. Rubio turned the fight down, Vera would have been a good opponent instead of Ishida but I don't know if he was offered the fight or if he was already tied up with Bondas. Molina never fought at 160, GGG would receive tons of criticism for fighting him.

“I would love to [fight Gennady], his team and promotional company send me a contract to fight at 164lbs and next day they say I have to be 10lbs off. "

                      http://espn.go.com/blog/dan-rafael/p...-no-go-for-now

"No opponent is set, but two names are under discussion: super middleweight contenders Thomas Oosthuizen (20-0-1, 13 KOs) and Edwin Rodriguez (22-0, 15 KOs), both of whom are promoted by Lou DiBella. South Africa's Oosthuizen, a 6-foot-4 handful of a southpaw, would have to get through a Nov. 10 fight against Fulgencio Zuniga to stay in the running.

If Golovkin faces either of them, they would meet at a catchweight of about 165 pounds".

sorry man but those are the facts. my bad for being off by ONE pound.
Other sources say both fights would have been at 168 :

"The amount of the reduced offer is not known, but it apparently wasn’t enough for Rodriguez to risk putting his unbeaten record (22-0-0, 15 KOs) on the line, even though the fight was going to be at Rodriguez’s weight (168 pounds)."

"Golovkin will move up in weight to challenge for Oosthuizen’s IBO super-middleweight belt in a bout to be broadcast live on HBO."

Knowing that GGG regularly spars with LHWs and HWs I don't think he would mind moving up 8 lbs.

take Sergio Martinez for example, he took the 1st Williams fight on short notice at 160. maybe you don't remember but almost NOBODY wanted anything to do with Williams at 147 to 160.
Are you comparing Williams, who was headlining on HBO and was considered a top 10 P4P fighter at the time, to the guys that are supposedly calling out GGG? Come on now.

he could be great or he could be a bust, all I'm saying is I want know what's up and I doubt we'll ever find that out against a guy like Ishida
And you think Vera and Rubio would give him a good test? You would give him credit for beating Molina who's never fought at 160? How about criticizing the other champs for not fighting him?

                      Legs are crucial for punching.
