I'll give you one, what's Zbik doing nowadays?

      Both Ishida and Zbik are coming off two losses in a row.....

      Both would be tune up fights nothing more nothing less.... How is one a better option then the other??? I'm just glad its not taking up HBO/SHO dates

          Maybe you should consider that Vera will make more money if he beats Macklin and then fights Chavez than if he just fights Chavez first and loses and gets stuck back on FNF.

          Chavez is a terrible matchup for him and he would get ****d in negotiations likely setting for an 85-15 split against a guy he cannot KO and will never beat on the cards.

          If he fights Macklin overseas he will make a better percentage of the split and if he were to win would still be in line for a shot at Chavez or GGG who would both jump at the chance to take another easy fight.
          Yeah I was.....

          I think Macklin-Lee happens before Vera gets to him

              You still trying?

              Zbik had a lackluster performance vs Sturm but I'm pretty sure 60% of the people here will tell you he beat Chavez. Whether you like it or not Zbik IS a better option than Ishida. He's not shot to pieces, he has more power and he has better boxing skills.

              Zbik a tune up fight for GGG? Based on what? Zbik would be his best opponent to date. Whether he's a tune up fight or not he's definitely a better option than Ishida. Not sure how you have the nerves to deny that.

              What about Rubio? Did they even reach out to him before his fight vs Upshaw was scheduled? We cant really say for sure if they exhausted all their options or if they went straight to Ishida. They can just say no one wants to fight us as a simple promotion tactic.

                He's not shot to pieces but he got stopped by a fighter who is pretty much shot to pieces. At least Ishida never got stopped and actually has an official win over an elite fighter.

                    You could be a promoter..... Or a used car salesman for trying to sell me Zbik coming off a KO loss (technically RTD) to Felix f#cking Sturm as a much better option then Ishida unless you're gonna tell me Sturms a power puncher next

                    Zbik=Ishida

                      Kirkland... Elite? What? This is what we do now to hype up Golovkin wins? Do you know the meaning of an elite fighter?

                      Mayweather, Pacquiao, Martinez, Ward... THOSE are elite fighters. Yes Pacquiao even at this stage of his career is a better fighter than Kirkland. Kirkland on the other hand... nowhere near those guys. Stop it.
