That'd be Murray, he doesn't have a top 20 win

But he has a disputed (then) Top 3 draw on his resume.

Well Golovkin and Jr. would beat him. I give Vera props though. He's tough and has earned every ounce of respect.

You might be right about that.

People give him a pass on Ishida because it's a "stay busy fight" but it seems he has nothing but stay busy fights. It's not like his resume is Carl Froch-like.

I have nothing against the guy personally but if certain other fighters (say, Broner) were doing this you'd never hear the end of the criticism. Just seems like a double standard.

martinez, geale, chavez quillin, ndam, pirog(injury) and barker all turned him down. you can't make them fight golovking. it's not like he's floyd/broner and could fight anyone and still chooses bums.

Broner is doing it but with sucky opponents on HBO, his only good fight is Demarco who isn't that good in the first place. But everybody isn't ducking him, it's the other way around, Canelo too.

Stay busy fight are just that, fights that happen In place of nothing. You'd rather him wait till June for his date and not fight at all like everyone else? It's not his fault that everybody is ducking him, you know it's true just like eveybody else but **** on him because all these other guys are scared instead of criticising those fighters who keep ducking

Actually that was his 3rd post-prison fight. You didn't do your homework.

Zbik got stopped in his last fight by over the hill Sturm. You seriously would have preferred GGG to fight him? At least Ishida is very durable so there's some intrigue about whether or not GGG can stop him.

There's a difference between mentioning GGG's name and calling him out and there's an even bigger difference between calling him out and actually trying to make the fight happen.

Osumanu Adama, Max Bursak, Sebastian Zbik, Matt Korobov, Giovanni Lorenzo, Avtandil Khurtsidze, etc.
What makes you think these guys (and I really mean their promoters) would be willing to fight GGG for the money Ishida is making? And what makes you think they haven't been contacted?

DeMarco was widely considered the #1 lightweight.....until Broner destroyed him. Then he became a bum all of a sudden.

Next Broner attempted to make a fight against the #2 or #3 guy at 135, Ricky Burns. Even offering him a career high payday. But Burns and/or Frank Warren ducked him.

Only after all that did he end up facing Gavin Rees and look at all the **** he got for it.

Meanwhile Golovkin has yet to fight the #1 guy at 160 or any of the top 10 guys really outside of maybe Proksa. And he's spending time fighting dudes that are coming up from smaller weights or coming off of losses. Yet it's all perfectly acceptable in his case.

The only guy that should have any dispute was Sturm. Murray got a gift, Macklin got robbed.
