It's laughable to say that the Macklin that went to war with Jammie Moore and Sturm vs the always all aggressive Vera would be entertaining?

You're exactly right - Macklin - Vera would be 10x the fight the other matchups would be.

I am sure he wants to see Vera fight Golovkin because it would be a fairly easy fight for GGG and like most Euro-Ruskie fans he doesn't care about competitive fights and only wants to see his countrymen in easy to win fights against overmatched competition.

I am sure he picked Dzindzurik to win by KO over Vera and is probably still salty that a hardcore American kicked the crap out of another overrated Eastern Block fighter with a nice record built of beating sacks on horse ****.

Vera deserves the Macklin fight if that's what he wants. He has been constantly forced into taking the wrong fights at the wrong time in his career. This time he should be rewarded.

Brian Vera is a great guy and deserves a pay day. I met him through a mutual friend when he fought Kirkland on the Hatton-Pauli card at the MGM.

Vera only had met me the day before and he got me a ticket to sit ringside..
