I don't believe he can repair it, perhaps improve it, but the damage is done. It seems to me that he's beginning to sound like Audley Harrison. Full of self admissios. or getting that way.

Hatton had a long, body abusing layoff, Haye really has had no retirement at all, just a couple of long periods between fights. This poseur had no intention of retiring whilst money was to me made but he enjoys needling the fans, whom he thinks adores him.

Hatton fought a guy whit just one defeat, who had been WBA welterweight champ with several defences. He was a top fighter. I don't know if Haye will even come close to this level of opponent.And in fact, i haveno idea why I even bother to post on this so silly "subject", something that a crappy narcissist "announced" just to keep his name in the papers.

I think people don't like him because unlike Ali, he hasn't been able to back up his talk in the ring.

Haye has talent, but he doesn't have what it takes to fully live up to it (so far). He's too inactive.

The same way Ali backed it up against Frazier the first time round... I suppose you're right there was probably a guy like you around back in 71 that completely dismissed Ali after that
