"Robert Guerrero was not mentally prepared"

It depends on how things play out. If they let him go and will let him train and then fight without court dates and **** then there isn't any issue, especially since Floyd had a similar situation versus Cotto.
However, if Guerrero is ultimately tied up because of this, it's a bit different. Even if this whole thing is settled in 2 or so weeks (not that I was predicting a victory for him, or anyone really was) you gotta admit this event takes away from his training camp. Maybe he didn't get cut in sparring or pull a muscle, but he won't commit to training the way he otherwise would. You don't have to be a hater to see that, but you might be completely, utterly biased to neglect it. It's time away from camp....when there shouldn't be time away from camp. Again, I wasn't one to predict he wins, but I'd still like him to show up 100% or close to it, I know Floyd Mayweather will, why shouldn't Guerrero?
Had he been the bigger draw he'd probably ask to postpone the date. Unfortunately, Guerrero isn't the draw and is no position to tell GB to move their date, so I do feel bad for him in that regard, but ultimately it's Guerrero fault, he put himself in this position.
Anyways going back to what I said in the beginning, a lot of this just depends on how this plays out. He might be cleared in a few days and he'll be good to go.Comment

Aaaaaaaaaannnnnnnndddddd...........point proven. Not really an excuse... whether he wins or loses.
Can you frankly say he'll be 100% come fight night? Can we say hadn't this happened he would had beaten Floyd? We will never know.
I was expecting a competitive fight but now I will never get the satisfaction of knowing FOR SURE if this whole thing had an impact on his performance or not.Comment

They have already said that he won't even have any kind of a court date until after the fight so there should be no excuses from anyone, ESPECIALLY if the Ghost does indeed pull the upset off.It depends on how things play out. If they let him go and will let him train and then fight without court dates and **** then there isn't any issue, especially since Floyd had a similar situation versus Cotto.

I didn't have him winning anyway but I do think it will have an effect on him. Sure you can say Floyd was facing time after his Cotto fight and he won but he knew it was going to be going for 3 months the difference is Guerrero won't even have his trial yet so he could be facing up to 4 yrs (although I'm sure he won't get that) so that will definitely be on his mind. Thats just my opinion I'm sure I'll get **** for it lolComment
