Then you should know. Growing up in NYC the only guys who had guns were criminals.

I live in Florida now, and everyone and their grandmother own guns. LOL. Gun culture is very different in both states. NYC very strict gun lans, and Florida has always had lax gun laws.

Damn right Plaxico shot himself in the foot and they sent his ass to jail. You'd think shooting your own foot was punishment enough lol.

Maybe if he was just some guy off the street they would throw the book at him but he is too high profile.

On the plus side.....if the fight goes through they just got themselves a boatload of free publicity in NYC. The media capital of the world.
The main problem is having a gun is the crime, he's being charged with criminal gun possession. Many high profile cases have popped up in and i think all have had the book thrown at them; Ja Rule, Burress. People dont understand how serious a gun charge is in NY

It appears he was trying to follow the right steps. He told the airport employee and it wasn't loaded. He does have a license to carry. It just doesn't seem he fully understands the law. I hope they let him off easy.

NYC has the most restrictive gun laws in the country. The gun laws are so restrictive that obtaining a firearms license for home protection and concealed carry is prohibited except for a select few. I feel sorry for Guerrero.

Well at least this seems to be a legal misunderstanding and not pure ******ity. He did not try to carry the gun through the security checkpoint and was declaring it at the ticket counter. I'm surprised he can carry in CA though as I heard their gun laws are almost as oppressive as NY.

I might go to JJ, don't know yet, it's definitely not my first pick.
Fire science? My goal is to become a fireman but i missed the sign up last year and it only opens up once every 4 years. JJ is good for that but so far for me

I have 24 years living here, and I am 24. I just don't care about gun laws since i'm never going to carry one, at least not illegally.

Yes I know that, other than cops, you are right.
