  • I really thought Price was smarter than that. Maybe he should've gone over to Washington where he wouldn't have felt the pressure to impress. The lack of technique was also quite worrying and not something I've seen before from Price.

With Manny Steward no longer with us, is there someone out there who can fix David Price?

    • Damn it, David Price would have been perfect for my sig before these two fights.

            Vitali didn't.

            Exactly.

I think a stoppage was in order he was done.
Although I can see how the ref did give him every chance to recover.
I think this problem is bigger than just this fight. A lot of times a fighter will be stopped on their feet when they could have taken a knee, got a little rest, and fought on. Perhaps refs should give an 8 count instead of stopping a fight in thise situations.

I agree, however, that had it been Thompson being pummelled, the fight most likely would have been stopped.

You are right. It wasn't merely bad stamina. Tony Thompson landed a large number of good hard body shots and they looked to have really hurt Price.

Poor Tony. (Some) people say the first win was a lucky shot, and now they'll say the second was because of Price's crap stamina.

            • Price needs to shadowbox some more, seriously.

I respect Vitali and Froch for that. Two guys putting in work for the Euros.

For all his clowning, Fury is legit.
Wrong. Both. Fury and price suck. Fury is the bigger joke of the two. At least price was dropped by a real hw.
