  • Just sad to see Price knocked out again. Its almost the end of the road for Price in a short career. Amazing considering Price was highly ranked before Thompson beat him the first time. Not sure where Price goes from here. Many are going to fancy beating him now Thompson exposed him twice

I guess Fury is the next hope. I actually think Fury beats Thompson!

      Im not sure.
Yes, he was forced to quit because he shot his load very early in the fight, in his attempt to put Tony Thompson away. When that end failed, it left him both vulnerable and defenseless to Tony's power punches, to which he had no answer for due to his lack of energy and stamina. In addition, he exercised great caution at the time of the stoppage, because he knew he was no longer at full strength and didn't want to risk further injury. This was why he didn't protest the stoppage.

I'm not so sure about that. I don't even think Fury is that good either and his chin is shaky at times but he would actually use his size to his advantage. Thompson is 41 years old and not in the best of shape. Fury uses any tactics he can in order to win. He will use his body weight to tire his opponent as well. I'm not counting out Thompson but the fight isn't a given for either guy.

Price needed to use his jab consistently. He had success with it in spots (beginning of the 2nd) but he focused too much energy trying to knock Thompson out. It backfired horribly and led to him quitting.
