You are more than willing to give Chakhiev a pass and to forgive and forget how he got exposed in his last fight.

Why can't you extend the same courtesy to Price?

Maybe I am biased but a huge difference between putting up a great fight against a great fighter in Wlodarczyk and falling short in a great fight and getting bombed the hell out by a fat as fawk, 41yr old Thompson who has only ever beaten one guy in the top 10.

And scrap weight divisions, Rakhim knocks that big, stiff idiot spark out.

I think its going to be a crap fight with Price being tentative as hell. No matter how much we all say "Price is a **** boxer he's only big" fact is he is massive, and thats going to be hell for Thompson if Price chooses not to engage.

I see Price winning a pretty dull decision, perhaps getting dropped once or twice to make the scorecards close. Obviously a chance of a stoppage either way, most likely on Price early, or Thompson late (after gassing).

I agree Price's power is overrated, Thompson wasnt really troubled by Price in the first fight, even when he was getting wailed on on the ropes.

Also I'm dissapointed in Thompsons weight. I thought he looked trim as hell on the Boxnation broadcast he was on, turns out he is only a few pounds lighter than last time. Didnt affect him much in the first fight i suppose...

I am really not sure about Prices recuperative abilities, even in the AMs once dropped he seemed to be real out out of it for ages after.
Even when Price had him on the ropes I felt Thompson was taking a lot off those shots and making him miss a lot.

I just can't see Price winning. Seen all his fights AMs and pro and hes incredibly limited and highly flawed.

I have to go with my head and say Thompson stops again. I don't rate him and I like Price in the sense hes a nice bloke and wish him well but I have to go with my head, he has nothing to trouble Thompson.

Besides an early career loss Tony Thompson has only ever been beaten by Wladimir Klitschko. Who has said that Thompson gave him one of the toughest fights in his career.

I just don't see why Price doesn't get a little slack for that defeat while Chakhiev does for losing to the weakest of the current cruiserweight champs.

Not lost to anybody but Wlad in 10 years because hes fought nobody!

Weakest based on what? If you think Wlod is the weakest of the world champs at cruiser I have to question your knowledge on the division.
You're telling me he wouldn't destroy Huck? The chinny Hernandez? Jones may tough as hell sheerly because of the guys chin.
Not even saying it because Rakhim lost, I have always rated Wlod and the fact he is still underrated now kills me, hes a damn good fighter and very possibly the most underrated current world champion!

Weakest champ yet holds wins Palacios, Fragomeni, Chakhkiev, May, Cunningham, come on man!

Price's recovery from being hurt is poor that's very true. Which is why he is going to be in the Amir Khan situation for every fight. Any punch at any time could change things.

Yep Thompson was watching Price through his guard the whole time lol. Was quite funny hearing all the scousers shouting thinking a stoppage was coming though lol.

I reckon the main thing Lennox will have been teaching him is to stay behind his jab. If he can do that and clinch on the inside then he can protect his chin. As long as he doesnt start throwing looping uppercuts from a mile away that is (seriously he couldnt be more like a HW Amir Khan if he tried!). Also if Price isnt coming forward recklessly i dont see Thompson having the ability to start coming forward and creating his own opportunities.
