  • Bradley's chin

What are your thoughts on Bradley's chin?

When I think of a solid chin, I think of Froch, eats shots as if they were nothing. It's rare to see him wobble, and the only person to put him down managed to land a perfect one-two which would put most people away. He got up easily.

Bradley has incredible heart. His will to win is amazing. But he gets wobbled by big punches. He hardly goes down as it he has the ability to keep on his feet, albeit with help from the ropes.

What constitutes a good chin to you? Is it the ability to take punches without being wobbled or hurt, or is it simply the ability to remain standing?

I thought it was better before the Ruslan fight but I wouldn't judge too much on one fight.
He has a pretty good chin and only went down twice in his career (I think right? Holt and Ruslan?)

And I rate chins usually as taking big shots and staying up, but sometimes there are exceptions where you couldn't possible stay up (Williams, Pacquiao, Hattonn)

But if you get stunned off of every shot I might start questioning the chin a little.

Bradley has a good chin , dead game heart
And excellent toughness. IMO he would give Floyd problems and give everyone at 140 the buisness

bradley took some bombs in that fight. if you turn the sound off oyu can really see his head being snapped around from the left hooks to his chin, and right hands on his jaw / face.

he's got a good chin. he reminded me a bit of juanma in that fight. he got visibly hurt, but the punishment he sustained was enormous regardless.

froch has a very good chin. maybe a great chin. he can take real bombs. he's also much harder to hit than reputed. he rolls shots well, and takes a lot of steam off of what does land.

I don't think Bradley's chin is that good tbh. I do believe his heart is second to none though.

A good chin to me is one that is "good enough". I don't think every fighter needs to have an iron Margarito type of chin.

I don't really have a rating for Bradley's chin but it hasn't been an issue in his past and it won't be an issue for him going forward.

Bradley's chin is good not great.

His heart and conditioning is what kept him in the fight with Ruslan.

He does have a good chin though but obviously he can be hurt and buzzed and has been in a few fights.

Bradleys chin isnt his greatest asset and Bradley will tell ya that. He gets on his bike as he knows he cant take a great shot too often.

He didnt have to trade with the russian but he had a statement to make after running from Pac big time. There is no reason why he had to be drawn into a slugging match with the russian. He didnt with Pac so why with the russian?
But his chin paid the price against the russian he exposed himself whereas he played his cards close to his chest a bit more before.

Bradley's chin is slightly above average, but what saves him is his excellent conditioning
