His chin was never in question before this fight. That Holt shot was vicious so I don't even count that. It's possible he was hurt so bad in the first round that he was a lot more prone to getting hurt throughout the fight. I still say his chin is solid.

lol...criticising Bradleys chin while mentioning the most overrated chin in boxing....Froch's.....cant take this seriously....
the punches that have hurt Bradley have been bombs.....Provodnikovs right hand and Holts left hook are their trademark power punch........Jermain Taylor had not hurt anyone in about 4 years(except the free shots that Pavlik gave him by dropping his hands) when he put Froch on his ass(and the punch really didnt look that hard...)Last edited by -Hyperion-; 03-27-2013, 08:28 PM.

Bradley has a good chin and good powers of recovery from being hurt. He has been down 4 times that I know of. Holt put him down twice. The Russian put him down and hurt him badly in the first round. The referee did not call it a knock down in the first round but he seemed incompetent because it clearly was a knock down. Bradley was so badly hurt that when he tried to stand he fell down again and was staggering around the ring. Holt is a hard puncher and the Russian is an even harder puncher. These men will hurt or knock down anyone if they hit them right. Being knocked down is no big deal if the fighter can get up quickly and recover quickly. Trinidad was knocked down often and he had a great chin. He always jumped up without a count and was right back on the attack. He never really seemed to be hurt much except in the Hopkins fight and even then he was standing up when his father stopped the fight. Other fighters like Judah and Khan have poor powers of recovery and once they are hurt they stay hurt. Bradley is hard to knock down and he seems to recover quickly but he said the Russian hurt him and kept him dizzy during much of the fight.

I would say that he had a great chin. Those big shots he absorbed from Holt and Ruslan would have put anyone else to sleep. I think those shots were actually harder than the shot Marquez caught Manny with. Keep in mind that Bradley had to lose 40lbs before the fight. It definitely took away from his legs and he was slower than I've ever seen him. So yes, under those conditions, he has a great chin to take those shots and keep throwing back.

Bradley has incredible heart. His will to win is amazing. But he gets wobbled by big punches. He hardly goes down as it he has the ability to keep on his feet, albeit with help from the ropes.
What constitutes a good chin to you? Is it the ability to take punches without being wobbled or hurt, or is it simply the ability to remain standing?
His mental fortitude is what has prevented him from getting straight up cold****ed and put to sleep up to this point.
A few more toe-to-toe battles with a hard puncher could eventually turn his chin into mud.
Hopefully, he doesn't sound drunk punched while accepting his induction into the Hall of Fame one day.
