WBC 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (41-0-1, 30KOs) would love the opportunity to face former three division world champion Miguel Cotto (37-3, 30KOs) on September 14th. Canelo and Cotto were being positioned for a fight in early 2013, but everything changed when Cotto was upset by WBA champion Austin Trout (26-0, 14KOs) in December. Canelo will now face Trout in a unification on April 20th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
