Why would anyone support Cotto fighting for a title after back to back L? Cotto needs to beat a legit SWW/LMW before getting a title shot. After beating Trout, Canelo have to face Lara, Molina or any other fighter in his weight class and not Cotto.

My issue is that he thinks he runs **** already. He's complaining about being on the undercard of the Floyd/Ortiz and Floyd/Cotto fight as if he's too good for it. I mean he was *****ing about the Floyd/Cotto fight hard, I mean, bro. Two HoF going at it and you are allowed to be on the undercard against another HoF. Just say thank you and fight. I hate this diva ish.

Now he pulls out again because he wasn't given a guarantee? I mean, Floyd doesn't owe him anything. Floyd is annoying, but he worked his way to the position he's in. He wasn't given the De La Hoya golden spoon to stardom from the beginning. He's just annoying. He's got good skills, but where's his humbleness? ****, he's got 40 fights a gifted title and his best win is I don't know, Alphonso Gomez or some other crap. Just shut up and handle your business.

And even more annoying, he's always talking about his next fight. Its so disrespectful. He's got a champ in front of him who is more accomplished than him that he's going to fight and he's worried about his PPV numbers for a potential Cotto fight.

And Cotto is my favorite fighter, but why you chasing someone who's 0-2 in his last two? Its annoying. Cotto himself needs to fight a solid top 20 fighter and show he's got some life left in him.

it would make more sense if Cotto was coming off a victory against a top 10 Jr MW...

they can go ahead and make the fight hoping the Mexican/ PuertoRico rivalry will pay off, but it won't make as much money than the scenario above... and essentially it will be a pointless fight

Yeah, as a big Cotto fan, i really can't see him winning either. He's seen his better days. Canello is just too sturdy, younger, much hungrier than Cotto, and still improving. Might be a good fight 1st 1/2, but Canello beats him one way or another.
