Canelo will make more ppv buys on Mexican Independence day than mayweather, any day of the week.... Mayweather lies and lies and lies.... finally someone in the business puts his foot down... Canelo way more exciting than Mayweather...and he's pretty young in the sport... very humble and very mature for his age... and he's becoming a star in another country (U.S.) something Mayweather can never do outside of Las Vegas.

If Canelo beats Trout, he will face Cotto in September on PPV.

You guys are so funny. You keep acting like there was no stipulation that both guys had to win in May in order for the fight to be made in September. I realize it fits your agendas but it's a lie. If Canelo had lost to Trout, Floyd had no obligation to fight him at all.

Now Canelo gets to headline his own event and should he win, most likely headline his own PPV against Cotto. If Floyd decides to make a fight with Canelo later after May.......he is going to deal with Canelo being a bigger draw and hence wanting more money. It'd be another excuse for Floyd not to fight him.

I love how people think its Canelo that cant keep Mayweather's name out of his mouth. When in reality its the reporters asking the questions, who always bring up Mayweather.

And you base this on what, exactly?

              Another excuse?

What's the excuse at the moment?

Great post....all true. Unlike Floyd Canelo has always been a draw because the Mexican community supported him from the get go. Floyd has not always been a draw and people always seem to forget that.

The real loser here is Trout. Should he win, Mayweather is not fighting him.
