The Judah fight I can sort of agree with but the Alexander fight was not close. The rounds was not close, it was a clear 96-93 win for Lucas at the worst. (I think that is giving Alexander the one close round)

Rewatch it, I genuinely can not see how anybody could even call that fight a draw even taking away the knockdown.

Yeah man In order for the fight with Devon to be a draw, he had to win 6 of the 10 rounds because of the kd. No way that was the case. Devon only won 4 rds IMO.

matthysse is a good fighter but he gets extremely overrated around here, often by the same ppl who say zab and devon are complete garbage.

he should have got the alexander fight but against zab he wasnt robbed at all. but regardless, if they are such bums and matthysse is such a beast he would have handled them a lot easier. instead they both gave him all he could handle and zab beat him fair and square.

but matthysse is a good fighter, yet nowhere near the beast ppl around here play him out to be. he gets way too much credit for everything, whether its knocking out nobodies like dallas or his supposed robberies.

hes got power so you cant count him out against anyone but hes also extremely limited. for my money peterson is a far better fighter, the way their styles clash its a toss up though. still i wouldnt be surprised to see peterson take him to school, i certainly would enjoy it. i like matthysse but its hard to root for someone with fans like his.

Yes. I am not all that impress with Matthyse by the level of hype surrounding him. I never even watch the Devon or Zab fights against him until I had to judge them for myself. I guess I was too busy watching Garcia and Keith Thurman..

Anyway Zab clearly beat Lucas, even though he was such an idiot with his angles and defense getting caught by Lucas in the late stages of the fight. In my opinion Devon also beat him... both fights were not robberies instead Lucas didn't do enough. Lamont Peterson is going to take him out because of the PED scandal he went through and now he has to prove that he is actually legitimate. I say he wins because the PEDs he supposedly take wouldn't even have an effect on his performance against Amir Khan who was on his bicycle the whole fight.

You can't K.O everyone at top level! Alexander quit once over a bad cut against an elite level fighter, he has one hell of a chin. Lucas is still the only guy to floor him.
Even to Judahs credit hes only been stopped 3 times those was to prime Cotto, Kostya Tsyzu & an arguable low-blow by Khan.

I'd say Matthysse was just coming into his prime when he fought Alexander.

He learned the hard way. It was his first time on the big stage and he floored both & clearly beat both guys. If you can't see he has improved you're blinded with hate.

He has floored/stopped everyone hes ever faced! Soto, Olusegun, Judah, Alexander etc etc
He will batter Peterson & they'll stick bring up how he didn't stop two guys years back

It can't be his first time on the big stage both times. Fair enough both fights could well be argued in Matthysse's favour but they most certainly weren't as clear as you and the rest of his superfans claim they were. If he was half as good as this forum would have you believe he should have knocked both of them out, or at least won much clearer.

What's not to like about Matthysse, he's clearly great for the sport and will bring us some great fights in the coming years but the Peterson fight will show us a lot more about him, and if he is just as good as this forum will have us believe.

One things for sure, if he loses his same superfans will turn on him just like they all turned on Maidana who pre Khan was a supposed killer and post Khan became a slow slugger bum ect etc.

What is Lucas best win people? When the Peterson fight comes closer I'll be seeking out some bets.

As I said before with the way Lucas is rated on here I'd have expected him to have dealt with Zab easily and to have battered Devon around the ring. Neither one happened.

6 clear rounds according to you and he is still only up by a point. i dont remember which rounds i gave to matthysse but i scored the fight for judah by a point. so obviously some of those "clear" matthysse rounds werent all that clear.

its not just me either, most ppl thought matthysse won but thats a given since he was the aggressor and the aggressor always gets the mainstream fans vote. among ppl who know how to score its more or less split down the middle yet some keep pretending it was a clear win for matthysse, thats not the case.

zab didnt win clearly either but it could have went either way, being so close to zabs homwetown its common sense he would get the nod in such a scenario. but you should never let a fight get that close anywhere, matthysse didnt get robbed he simply didnt do enough.
