The same laughable situation applies at SMW. Ward is superchamp, but wont fight any time soon. In the meantime, the regular belt is about to be unified with the IBF belt on May 25 when Kessler and Froch clash.

I am so sick of these super champs...silver champ...w.t.f ever happened to one champ per class...if i had it my way i would throw every belt in the trash and have a tournament with the best 6-8 guys per class and get this **** squared up...love boxing more than anything but would love for these poser mutha****as to start fighting the best of the best...u are not a champ if u cant say u fought the best in ur era. I wont mention any names... i do know that g.boy and t rank cant get it done but we all know at the end of the day that the fighters can get it done.Comment

There are so many belts in circulation now it will soon get to the stage where any fighter who has 15 or more fights on his record and doesn't actually hold one of those things will more than likely be a bum.Comment

What easier way to sort this mess out than by having just 1 champion per sanctioning body?
I mean, having 4 sanctioning bodies that have belts is one thing but when those sanctioning bodies have more than 1 belt then this kind of mess is obviously going to happen.Comment
