Floyd won the belt fairly so what would stripping him do? Canelo and trout can't fight for the belt because Canelo isn't #2 at the WBA. Ppl say Floyd should be stripped and maybe he should but that doesn't solve the belt issue

If Trout beats Canelo then he'll be publicly recognized as the real WBA champ, and no Floyd fight he should go up to 160 challenge Golovkin for the chance of becoming WBA 2 division champ.

in my opinion this is the biggest problem with boxing...all these damn belts floating around, NOT NECCESSARY!!!

have one belt per weight class! what is wrong with that!? we need to take it back to the old days, simpler days, better days, when boxing was better, all these sanctioning bodies do is cause headaches and problems with "whos the best champion at this weight class" oh well he has the IBF so he's better, oh no, he has the WBO and the WBC, he's better, no he's the WBA 'regular champion' no the 'silver champion' WTF MAN!!!!!!!

it really makes me sick to my stomach cuz then these champions don't fight each other, they protect themselves and refuse to fight each other

Green K. I agree. But all of this I'd $$$, sanctioning feed for the organizations, & the promoters get to protect their cash heifers. Unfortunately, it ain't going back to those days.....

No, that's not how it goes. U have to win a title and beating Canelo doesn't win him the belt. Beating Floyd would or if they strip Floyd, beating the person whom they deem #2 would. But that's not canelo as of rite now. I dunno where fans get this idea that u inherit belts or something.
