If you want to be the greatest of all time the fighter has to prove it, not his fans.

The way Fraud fans hug the Gatti fight like it's sacrilege is pretty fuc*in sad. It was a fight that Fraud Jr. hyped up as an A+ fighter going against a C+ fighter. He was right on that. So why the hell was it such a great win? I loved when Fraud called Gatti a paper champ over and over at the press conference. Yet then he goes on to be so happy to win it and even Merchant said something a long the lines, you will wear that paper belt high? he replied, yes I will. So what is it? A great win or just a C+ fighter that made Fraud Jr. look great because of his zero defence?

Making a video on how to hit Gatti is like teaching a kid A,B,C's, 1,2,3's.

Lopez looked awful in some fights too. the best guy he fought (alvarez), he barely beat actually. Floyd hasn't looked as good because he is small. Floyd would look like a monster if he was a huge welterweight fighting guys like Will fcking Grigsby.

Lopez was huge at 105 and didn't bother trying to move up and fight better guys. This is a fact.

Floyd is not great at all..... To be great you gotta face the greats of this sport... He uh ducked, avoided & made excuse after excuse not to face the greats. How many prime fighters had Floyd fought??? Has he fought hof names yeah, but way past their prime & over the hill, never wanted to test him self cuz his "0" was more imlortant. He's an alright fighter IMO. I don't see how anyone can call him great when we've never seen him test his skill with any one who actuall had a challenge for him. Nor will we ever.

That's not fair either, Floyd is definitely great and the best of my era at least and I have seen some great fighters.

You are right though, boxing is like college football and it's all about who you have beaten. Nobody can deny that he has picked his opponents very wisely and at the right time in their careers.

Not fighting Pac will hurt his legacy and that's coming from someone who think he beats Pac.

There are too many great fighters to say one is clearly the greatest of all time, that's just being arrogant or ignorant or both.

Well I do agree that there's WAY to many fighters for one to be called the greatest specially in a sport that's been around this long. I just don't see anything great about him maybe the greatest at avoiding & cherry picking. He's never in a exiting fight, he never fights who the fans want to see & he rarely does fight & when he does it's with some one who had ZERO chance of beating him. Is that what great really is???

Come on man, now you are losing credibility. You don't see anything great about him? What about his incredible defense, counter punching ability and reflexes. The dude is like a snake he's so fast.

Floyd has it all, he can fight inside, outside, box, counter punch, is tough, trains hard, etc...

I just have a problem with people claiming someone the greatest of all time and closing their minds to everything else. It's a silly statement when there's so many great fighters and so much you have to consider to even make the argument, not just show some video....lol

I never saw SRR fight in person obviously, but all the old timers tell me he was the goat. In those days, fighters did things fighters today can't do as far as toughness. They fought a lot, had gloves that didn't protect as much, things were different.
