If you're doing it for fun and as a hobby, probably not. If you're seriously fighting, yes. You spend your career getting punched in the head, your brain is going to take damage. Having said that, it varies. Some people are just lucky and don't run into as many issues later on. Some people do. It also depends on how much damage you're taking, a fighter who's highly defensive and gets hit less, will more likely not have as many issues later than a hard punching slugger, who takes 1 to give 2.Comment

Yeah but than you have examples like George Chuvalo who is fine, but got hit tons, and Wilfred Benitez who is considered one of the greatest defensive fighters ever and is now in need of constant care. You can just never tell.If you're doing it for fun and as a hobby, probably not. If you're seriously fighting, yes. Cycling is literally twice as bad as the second most dangerous, football (I'm assuming American.) Also take note that some of these sports are likely smaller than boxing so it's not because there are simply more people playing them.
The fact that they have a paragraph dedicated to boxing yet don't have it on their list shows they really don't have much evidence against it. Seriously, they put trampolines on but but couldn't get boxing on their. They mad.

What in the literal ****?
Boxing has to be one of the worst..? From what I've heard, it's worse than any other combat sport for brain damage. I know Football and Rugby have deaths from brain injuries too, but you're guaranteed to lose brain cells every time you step in the ring. I played football at school and never got a migraine or any brain injury. Right after my first boxing sparring session, I had a bleeding nose, a bad migraine, and couldn't lean forward without getting a painful throbbing in my head. How the **** do you lose brain cells cycling? You mean if you crash?Comment
