Mayweather Vs Canelo...Easy fight to make?

I think it's an easy fight to be made. Mayweather wants the fights he can make the most money from. If Canelo looks impressive beating Trout then that sets up a huge pay per view. Besides not many viable opponents left for Mayweather to fight.

I don't think so... GBP has a stable of 140-147 lbsers for Floyd to feast on... Floyd pretty much already changed out GBP older stable of WWs, now he's got a while new crop of GBP guys to clean out, and best of all, Floyd gets to impose a 70/30 purse split on them

If you're not a very good boxer its easy to make a fight with Floyd. If you are a little too dangerous for Floyd, Floyd becomes like a chasistity belt for a woman.

To me its not whether or not Floyd thinks he can beat Canelo. I think he knows he can outbox him. But just like with Pacquiao i think Floyd knows even in victory he will take punishment he is just not prepared to take at this point. I think he feels like he took his lumps early in his career and now he can take it easy.
To me this is what he means about "self preservation."
Look at his opponents since he came back in 2009. None were serious threats to harm Floyd. Ortiz had KO power but everyone knew he didn't have the footwork, speed, or discipline to break down Floyds defense. Mosley looked great against Margacheato, but its not like he is very hard to hit. Cotto has always been more of a technical fighter who had decent power. Same thing with Guerrero. After the first few rounds you will see Floyd pot shot and run. Its why he always demands a bigger ring size.
If Floyd knew for sure that Pac or Canelo didn't have the size or power to potentially hurt him, those fights would have been made already.

Nah, I'm not writing him off, I'm simply pulling for my guy. If canelo wins without controversy, i'll give him the world of props. However I also know Floyd is absolutely ducking the winner of this fight.

This fight is also the most important fight of this year. If Floyd beats the Ghost, the world must demand him to face the winner, or fucck off.

The Floydfans will just support whatever Floyd wants, it's how they roll. I think Floyd would rather drag up Garcia, Khan, Mattthysse or fight someone like Lopez, Maidana or Alexander before Canelo or Trout even get a mention
