I used to hope he would change the HW division but his lack of stamina and his lack of fighting means he's just hanging around it like Vitali, wasting time. Get into meaningful fights or just retire.
    My thoughts, too.

      He missed out on Vitali.

He can work his way back for another fight with Wladimir, but it's doubtful he's got the balls for it. Maybe if he can find an easy short cut he will do it.

Anyway, a second Wlad fight is redundant, because Haye can't beat Wlad.

        The Telegraph reports:

David Haye may be planning summer comeback against Tyson Fury as appetiser for Klitschkos

David Haye has met trainer Adam Booth to discuss a possible summer comeback in London either in late June or early July, with rival promoter Mick Hennessy revealing on Tuesday that his unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury would be willing to step in as an opponent.

Haye’s return to the ring for the first time since he knocked out Dereck Chisora last July at Upton Park will depend on how the dates and finances stack up as he sets his sights on becoming a mandatory challenger to one, or even both of the Klitschko brothers.
Fury, who has vacated the British and Commonwealth titles to pursue his own tilt at the Klitschkos, makes his debut in America on April 27 when he meets former two-time world champion Steve Cunningham at Madison Square Garden. But Hennessy said on Tuesday of the unbeaten 24-year-old: “He is interested in that fight with Haye, definitely, and it could be done at a stadium this summer as long as the date is right.”

I do not like this at all. I don't want to see David KO Tyson Fury, because I like Fury. I think David should KO

        Tier 1 Preferred victims:
        Povetkin(to show up Wlad)
        Adamek(high light reel)
        Thompson(For Price)
        Arreloa(because he's so fat)

        Tier 2 Preferred victims:
        Chambers(Don't like his style)
        Pulev

On route to beating Vitali. I do NOT want to see him fight Fury because that is brother vs brother. (Even though Fury hates him, it's more like the little brother who hates the big brother not real hate)

He didn't miss out on Vitali. He will force Vitali into a fight or people will know Vitali retired to avoid David. That's different from Lewis-Vitali because Lewis FOUGHT Vitali. If Vitali fought David and stopped him on cuts, than retire it's ok. But you have to at least FIGHT him once.

David will force the matter into Vitali's hands and Vitali will have no choice but to fight. I will love to see David KO Thompson for David Price. To avenge his brother.

Haye won't force Vitali into anything, mate.

Haye could have fought Vitali already, but he chose not to.

It's actually disgraceful that Haye keeps calling out Vitali, who's now older, way past prime, and semi-retired.

Vitali is nearly 42 and clearly well on the slide. Haye had his chance, he pulled out of two fights with Vitali because he knew had no chance. Only now Vitali is ancient and faded he wants to fight and even then he wants to waste more time by fighting old men & club fighters. You've only got to see how scared he is of Vitali in the video where Vitali takes his cowboy hat off him & he just stands there looking like hes about to cry.

David ''excuse-maker'' Haye is a joke. What sort of fighter waits over 5 years for an already old fighter to get ancient and lose a step or two? That is cowardice!

There are plenty of young guns out there calling his name but unless its a domestic bum or an OAP he isn't interested.

I'll tell you this Vitali of 3 years back would of flattened him and he likely still would even now despite being well past his best.

Wait.... I don't get the double standards. Vitali fought a 380 day inactive Lennox Lewis ....who was 3 months from 38. Why didn't Vitali fight Lewis in 97-00?
He had his chance after Byrd.. Lewis was STILL willing to give him a shot over Michael Grant.

So it was ok when Vitali did it, but now it's NOT ok when Haye do it?
Fans ask who have Haye beaten to earn a shot at Vitali? Well.. he is on his way to beating up Adamek,Thompson, possibly Povetkin. That's earned enough.
Who have Vitali beaten to earn a shot at Lewis? Look it up. Those guys are the same caliber of fighters as Adamek..Thompson and lower than Povetkin.
