They get respect for putting their skills on display against world class opposition. They don't continually fight guys who are ancient/domestic level.

Win-lose-draw, these guys have fought the best and they sure didn't talk their way into paydays with a chance to unify and spend 12 rounds running & throwing themselves to the floor.

Haye is a great talker, hes got talent, he could of been a damn good HW but he has spent years talking whilst ducking and fighting cans. If he comes back & actually earns a rematch with Wlad by beating genuine opposition, I will give him credit but if hes just going to be facing Adamek, Thompson, Price, Charr & guys like that, I can't give him credit for that. I know, you know, we all know the outcomes of those fights.
He stops all those guys & likely ends Price with the first punch he lands.
How is Adamek not a good fight? It makes money and it makes sense. Adamek is a big draw in the USA and is a big name in Europe.

How is Thompson a bad fight? I'm serious. I mean he just ktfo out of Price who was considered a top 3 prospects.. (By experts, not just random boxing posters). He was the prospect of the year.

And ... Thompson was a good enough fight for Wladimir at age 40.

Because its always low risk, high reward with Haye. What does Adamek do but give him a huge easy payday? Hes been damaged good since Vitali battered him senseless and he has arguably lost two on the spin to cruiserweights - one had one arm!

Thompson would be 42 by the time the fight got made and Wladimir trashed him easily.

Its ******; its like justifying Manuel Charr as an opponent ''Oh he beat the dreaded Yakup Saglam who only had one loss and a huge K.O ratio & he stopped Konstantin Airich in 1 who is normally durable''

There is fresh, high level talent out there who could push him and put him in a position to get a rematch with Wlad.
He could grab Povetkins strap and show the world he means business this time around instead he will cherrypick old men who are shot to bits & domestic hacks like Richard Towers & make out he has earned the right to make crazy demands.

David Haye is the biggest draw in the Uk and arguably on par with Wladimir.
Vitali vs Manuel Charr was fought in front of a mostly empty arena.

Haye vs Chisora attendance was 31,500
That is a bigger crowd than any boxing event in the USA dating back to the early 90's.

You've Said that like twice already but I think haye vs fury would be a huge fight in the uk. It would be a good fight in the right direction considering he's fighting Cunningham next. It would be a step up fron all those bums fury has fought

I rather see Haye KO Adamek or Thompson. For David Price who's his good friend. That sounds like Haye tbh .David Haye is a good friend and will fight to protect or avenge his brothers.

He will line up 40+ year old Tony Thompson, gas out and get wobbled a few times, squeak out a booring low punch output fight and then take 9-12 month off.

I used to hope he would change the HW division but his lack of stamina and his lack of fighting means he's just hanging around it like Vitali, wasting time. Get into meaningful fights or just retire.

Somehow I don't expect too much. He will fight once per year choosing the fights with the highest award/risk ratio.

                      What, like Vitali?

He's hardly going to throw himself in with someone who is a poor style match, is he? He'll take the easiest route back to a title shot, like any contender would..
