Absolutely right. Boxing is not really moving the needle for either network. The number of subscribers who subscribe just for boxing is probably less than 3% of their overall subscriber base.Comment

I really hope this gets sorted out, Showtime is okay, but the big fights always feel right when they're broadcasted by HBO/.Comment

Do you remember when flod was going to prison in February that Bob arum said many pac will fight on may 5th, and then mayweather got the judge to push his time up to june?
Then bob arum changed many pacs fight date availability to june?? do you remember that or do you want me to post the article from ESPN SPORTS??
ARUM IS A PROVEN LIER!!! and he is a cheat!!! and convicted for bribing!!! and had his offices raided by the F.B.I. and you still back him?? your a ride or die top rank fan wrong or right? that seems pretty biased of you!!!
This interview was in December, shortly after Pacquiao had suffered a bone-deep cut, which NORMALLY required 6 months to heal. His DOCTOR said that there were 28 stitches in THREE layers from the bone upward, and the top layer was 9 stitches. (I'm paraphrasing). His doctor also said that he would not be even able to begin training until mid April the soonest. May 5th was never considered for Pacquiao, it was only mentioned because of Cinquo de Mayo.
I don't think you even saw the fight. Do you recall when Kellerman was interviewing him he had to stop the interview because of the blood dripping from the huge cut??
All this is on record. Wherever you get your info from, it's not from the record. I'd stop the "subscription" if I were you.....Comment

Lol, Good luck with that bro. Other then boxing, everything on Showtime is utter s-h-i-t. Really all HBO would have to do is bring back The Wire or The Sopranos and air it whenever Showtime airs a GBP event and HBO would easily smash Showtime into irrelevancy as far as ratings go.Comment

Just to chip in here...sap... Arum was asked if he could fight on May 5th. Arum said that he hardly thought he's be ready before THE END OF MAY OR EARLY JUNE. This was in line with what was already issued by the doctor.

I told his goofy ass, that there weren't any negotiations in the first place. It was all bravado from Floyd on Twitter, knowing about Pacquiao's cut situation.Comment

One thing about this site. The amount of actual knowledge shown by most of the posters is slight, althoguh that doesn't prevent them from showing their ignorance. I'm grateful for this as it gives me lots of laughs.....Comment
