HBO No Longer Working with Golden Boy Promotions

Couldn't disagree more.
If you read the comments by boxing fans on this site, others and the internet in general, Showtime has the much better announcers.
Lederman is getting senile, Lampley has a great voice but his commentary is avg at best, Roy Jones used to be good but as of late it seems his biased is showing and Max used to be young and fresh and now is a company guy.
Bernstein is the best in the game PERIOD. The MMA guy is annoying I can't lie but Paulie is the best fighter/announcer in boxing. Joe Cortez is a non factor I agree but for me, I will take Bernstein over any guy on HBO combined.
Thank about it like this...this Showtime All Access no matter how good will come off like a wannabe 24/7. That's brand power. HBO has it, Showtime is TRYING to get it. Their commentators fall into this same category.Comment

HBO Subscribers = 29 Million

I like Al Bernstein. Everyone else on Showtime sucks, imo. Paulie Malignaggi and that over dramatic MMA guy are annoying as hell.Comment

This is why not every company has Epix because most of the major cable companies haven't agreed to pay Epix for their station.Comment

Yeah.....that won't happen. Broner is an Al Haymon fighter, he'd be more likely to sign with Mayweather Promotions. 50 Cent can offer deals all he wants, but what has he done???
