LOL Boxing is seriously turning into Pro Wrestling. Segregated Promotions. What's next, an nWo Invasion on Showtime???

I can see it now. Tarver is calling a fight as he sees Larry Merchant and Roy Jones walk down in the crowd as they hop over the railing walking into the ring as both fighters and ref look stunned and stop fighting.

Tarver - "Wait...what the....that's Jim Lampley and Roy Jones..."

Lampley grabs the mic - "So...you're surprised to see us, huh...You want a War...well now you got one!!!! We had Floyd Mayweather on HBO in HIS PRIME!!! You're getting the Grandfather edition of Floyd!!!"

Hands the mic over to Roy Jones

    "Hey yo...soundman...hit that beat for a n*gga.."

Roy starts freestyling dissin all the Showtime fighters, ending it properly with "....Pensacola in the HOUSE"

    Crowd goes ape ****

Can GBP live off that 28 alone? They're used to getting a big piece of both networks.

Either way, Boxing fans lose again due to politics.
But HBO made cuts to boxing last year, Showtime increased theirs. If that trend continues, who knows what the future holds???

Iole's story not really complete. How does issues with Broner translate to 'We're just gonna blacklist all the fighters from one of the top two biggest promotional outfits.'

And yeah, I think this is all sorts of ****** and terrible for the fans.

While your joking its the truth. It's WWE and ECW. The NBA and the ABA. Two different leagues where the teams don't play each other.

Some people accept it while others keep hoping that one day everybody will get along.

Didn't Showtime do this with Don King? Or was it the opposite, they only showed Don King fights in the 90's?

Showtimes 2013 is bigger than HBO's; with those fighters it raises your stock that why HBO is was bigger cause they had the bigger stars and know they don't. Let HBO start to crack Bob will jump ship like he did with Manny vs Shane. Mayweather-Guerrero was damn near sold-out within 48 hrs and so is Canelo vs Trout; Tyson was the last fighter on Showtime that happened for.

I will wait to hear the details before I call anyone ******ed or ******. I wonder if it was initiated by HBO or GB. It would make no sense to have a promoter cut out an entire cable network, so there must have been something that really went wrong.

Showtime only showed Don King fights....while HBO showed Top Rank, Main Events, etc. And we all know what happened. Don Kings stable was drying out by that time a bit and he's basically done now.

Top Rank better hope their young talent pans out.
