Even at the peak of his career, Margarito would NOT have beaten a proud, huge power-punching, rangy fighter like Trinidad. When the hell has Tito shown lack of heart? Lack of adaptability, yes. Lack of heart, stamina, chin, or power? NO.

Margarito makes it to the final bell at best, but there is no way he beats or even stops Trinidad. I'd bet huge on it.

back in the day, i hated Tito because he was DAMN GOOD and always beat my favorite fighters. Camacho, Whitaker, Vargas. up until Hopkins, that is. by the time of Tito-Mayorga, i'd warmed to him.

Tito was the real deal. i love Tony, but this would've been a very hard fight for him to win.
