You think Trinidad having a extra layer of tape on his wraps is going to turn him from a monster puncher that could of hurt Hopkins (Who ever put a prime Hopkins in trouble).



Having an extra layer of gauze / tape or whatever isn't helping Trinidad do **** while he's in there with Bhop, for the same reason no one hurt Bhop in his prime, he's a spoiler and he took away dat left hook, I mean wouldn't it make more sense that Trinidad couldn't hurt Bhop because he was severely outclass rather then he didn't have his hands wrapped illegally ?.

Or have I got this all wrong and you're going to spring on me some amazing newly released evidence that shows Tito did this for every fight of his career and secretly kept cement slabs in there that would have caved Hopkins' temple with the first hook that he never seemed to land, but keep in mind that wraps are checked by the Commision before every fight and there was nothing showing Tito cheated before Bhop, which is also why I'm not so sure about Margarito supposedly cheating previous Mosley bout, until anything solid comes out I'm not sold that either of them cheated their entire careers, Tito puts Margarito away in the later rounds though, coming forward is not really the way to beat him.

Margarito wins and makes Tito quit . Tito is a very over hype fighter in here both of these figther have crapy boxing skills but Marg has 3 thing that would win him the figth iron chin and stamina,punch volume. This is only place on net that rates Tito high and wacthing this guy figth i just do see the greatness you guys see in him. the guy is garbage and b-hop show that and loser Oscar did also

Maybe you should go through the posts ?, I was saying the difference in power between the Joppy and Hopkins fight, might have had something too do with the opponent, but for some reason you came and said that the power difference was too do with the special wraps, as if the change in opponent had absolutely nothing to do with Trinidad losing his power, which he would have against Hopkins whether he had an extra layer of tape on his wraps or not.

Heh, I like Cotto, but Trinidad's heart is oh roughly around 54.1 x times bigger than Miguel's. I highly doubt Tito would 'take a knee' .

Hopkins was beating the **** out of him and in the 9th or 10th after taking punishment nonstop from a PRIME B-HOP, Tito still somehow managed to find the courage for one last assault. Tito never had any illegal wraps and would probably hurt Margarito really bad.


Hopkins was a career super middle weight beating up a 147-154 fighter though. All good. B Hop still an ATG simply for the fact he managed to shred those 8-10 pounds to stay in that 160 bracket for all those years.

it makes me question if you even so Cotto-Margarito 1.... Cottos legs were gone after the 7th and he fought into the 11th... he had nothing left to give.... after the first knee he attempts to come forward on margarito and gets sent backwards again because he had nothing left... his performance in that fight was honorable and courageous. Tito has never been in a position where he was being beaten to death with plaster loaded gloves.... Cotto got RESTOed and came back from it.

tito has shown great heart...

but lets not forget everytime Cotto has gotten off the canvus or fought through a cut other fighters would have quit with...

i think Margaritos sheer volume causes tito some problems... if margarito can take the left hook... he could possibly stop tito... IF he can take the left hook... Titos boxing skills are not on the same level as cottos... titos offense alone would determine the outcome of this fire fight
