Why do people keep saying Trout 'ran' against Cotto? When Cotto came forward he went back, when Cotto went back he went forward. Trout boxed against Cotto.

Its so dumb for Canelo fans to portray Trout as a bum because if he loses (a definite possibility) then Alvarez loses to bum, and if he wins he only beat a bum. Trout is a world champ, slick, awkward southpaw, and if Canelo wins he gets full full credit from me.

Resume arguments dont work either because both have very similar resumes (though for me a past prime Cotto is the best either have faced).

He's not great but at the very least, he's proven. Traveled outside the country and beat people in their own backyard. He's earned everything the old way.
