Wow talk about biting the hand that feeds you. He wouldn't be a name or get the recognition and pay days that he's got if he didnt fight in the US. We all have to pay taxes. If you want to come to this country to make money you have to pay taxes. F him. He comes to our country and takes that money back to his.

He fed himself, his hard work and determination is what gives him all he has. It's not his fault his promoters brought him here to fight. If he ******, he wouldn't have had all that money he has so no one gave him anything, he earned it with his sweat, tears and blood.

He was the interim Champion at 140. Being "Elevated" to a champion doesn't count.

          He's a 3 weight world Champion

He should be 4, but sadly, he was robbed of that.

Why should he pay those high taxes it's not like he lives here. He shouldn't be feeding the lazy people with his hard earned money. Does 40% sound reasonable to you?

His career is coming to and end, No one can blame him for trying to cash out in what may be his last fights.

Anyways, he can go get that Arab money, tax-free.

What do you mean it doesn't count? Says who?

Juan Manuel Márquez Méndez (born August 23, 1973) is a Mexican professional boxer and the former WBO light-welterweight champion. He is the 3rd Mexican-born boxer (after Erik Morales and Jorge Arce) to become a four-division world champion, winning seven world titles in four different boxing weight classes.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney only pays a 15% tax rate, and unlike Marquez, doesn't put his life on the line doing it. He deserves to keep as much money as possible considering the sacrifices he makes, not to mention the fact that he doesn't even benefit from living in the U.S.

                  Say's anyone.

"Interim champions" aren't actual Champions. They are as legitimate as being a WBU Champion or any other fake champion.

Jorge Arce isn't a 4 weight world Champion either.

Robert Guererro is recognised as a 2 weight world champion, rightfully so, because he's won Interim titles in 2 weight classes and actual titles in 2 others.

The only person who's won actual world titles in 4 different weight classes from Mexico is Erik Morales.
