by YOUR logic, beat a bum for an alphabet title = real champion because THEY consider him a champion.

but if THEY elevate you to a full champion = it doesn't count just because.

If you're acknowledging that THEY say who is and who isn't a champion then. Marquez is a 4 division champion.
And by "they" I meant the divsions.

"I don't agree with a division having 4 titles, but they do"

As in, "I don't agree with the divisions having 4 titles, but they (the divisons) do have 4 titles per division"

Not, "I don't agree with the divisons having 4 titles, but they (the sactioning bodies) do agree with that notion".

it doesn't matter how much you disagree with or how many technicalities you come up with. Marquez is recognized as a 4 division champion. Sure his 140 title may hold no weight with Garcia in the same weight classes but it doesn't matter. Technically he's a 4 division champ.

Just like Pacquiao's joke of a 154 title will be recognized historically and officially.
Cleared this up in my last post. That wasn't my logic.

Marquez is not a 4 division Champion. You have to win a title to be a champion and Marquez has not.

            That's an opinion...not fact.

Fact = Marquez is a 4th division champ because he was elevated the full champ and hold one of the 4 world titles.

You can't be elevated to a Champion.

                It literally makes no sense.

How can you be an interim Champion and then do nothing, and be an actual Champion?

                You can't.

I know they can say "You're elevated to a champion"

But that doesn't make you a Champion. You can't just be magically made a Champion for no reason at all and be considered a legit Champion.

You have to win a Championship. Let's not put logic and common sense aside.

If Marquez goes the route I expect him to he'll be a 4 and then 5 weight Champion soon enough.
