Andre Ward clears things up in interview today

How is it out of character, when no one has gone that deep with him? Pre fight hype is one thing, but when someone disrespects you on a real level, then you have to respond.

It's the fight business. I don't find it "unusual" that a fighter would defend his name/pride/ego.

But why didn't he do it right away then? Why wait a day or two before going off? He got gassed by his entourage. But he eventually took it back so now he's back to being himself.
