Andre Ward clears things up in interview today

As said above, Ward's a good guy, but when someone (Who he's always had nothing but GREAT things to say about) comes at him HARD, saying he'll "melt his gold medal" etc. and about how he can't sell tickets and he's nobody etc. You wouldn't lose your cool a bit either? Not to mention, on his twitter if you look over the last couple of days, people have been blowing up his Twitter saying he's "Not supporting his own race" etc. It's ludicrous.

I'm a Floyd supporter, but this whole debacle that he stirred up over nothing just rubbed me the wrong way.

But Ward didn't initially lose his cool, he reacted calmly and then the next day challenged Floyd to a fight. Looks like his people gassed him up and told him to respond aggressively.

The "call out" tweet he made seemed to be a joke in response to Dan Rafael, and knowing that it's not a big deal.

It's the tweet after tweet after tweet that I saw taking jabs at Mayweather that I had a problem with. Why release a statement saying, "call me on the phone and we'll talk like men," when you're just going to go on Twitter and start doing that?

This was good publicity for Ward. Hes a great fighter. A pretty good commentator. He should be more popular and im sure he and Floyd still respect each other. Im assuming they talked because Ward did say that everything got squashed the other day. As long as Wards shoulders fine he'll be fine.
