Blown out of proportion how? Somebody posted an article on a forum (this one) and people responded with a couple pages in a thread. ESPN didn't pick it up, and none of the major news outlets did.

The amount that this is being blow out of proportion has been blown out of proportion, if anything.

Ward might be taking it all lightly, but I read in another interview that Floyd got an Andre Ward doll and is stabbing with pins repeatedly.

so basically.... he didnt call Floyd out, but he'd move down to 160 if the fight presented itself.. why cant he fight Martinez @ 160 then?? does he really want to beat Mayweathers ass that bad or is he doing it for the money??

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Ward is not responsible for his tweets. A lot of celebrities have their friends manage their accounts so that they can stay in touch with their supporters.

There's too big a difference between the things he's on record saying and the things posted on his twitter.

Ward might be a good guy and all, but I doubt he's just gonna let some midget, peanut headed boy talk **** to him like that. This is boxing. You don't ever let another man get over on you.

As said above, Ward's a good guy, but when someone (Who he's always had nothing but GREAT things to say about) comes at him HARD, saying he'll "melt his gold medal" etc. and about how he can't sell tickets and he's nobody etc. You wouldn't lose your cool a bit either? Not to mention, on his twitter if you look over the last couple of days, people have been blowing up his Twitter saying he's "Not supporting his own race" etc. It's ludicrous.

I'm a Floyd supporter, but this whole debacle that he stirred up over nothing just rubbed me the wrong way.
