So would you say that's the most important attribute any boxer can possess?

I'm hitting the hay now fellas. It's way too late for someone like myself to be up after getting in late from work and having to be up early. Retirement needs to save me

      Nice dicussion fellas.

Perhaps we could continue this tommorow when Bradley puts a display on the Russian fellow.

i mean, Jones is arguably the most superlative athlete the sport has ever seen. he represents an extreme of athletic ability in boxing. far from the norm.

should we really be holding up Roy Jones as a pillar of defense? absolutely not, imo. he got away with so much reckless **** that other men wouldn't get away with just because he was athletically singular.

Bradley is a warrior too in my eyes. If Bradley get's hurt, he doesn't back down. Not many people would have got up from that shot Holt him with nor would they push forward after the shots Pacquaio landed on him.

In regards to your last statment, Roy Jones and Ali in their primes got his way less than Bradley does now but you said he has a better defense than them, right?

Roy Jones in his prime didn't get hit any where near as much as James Toney in his prime but who has the better defense? Most would say Toney.
I would take Toney having the better defense as well..It's because Toney had other intangibles outside of just reflexes..Ali and Jones in their Primes were far more talented then Bradley too..It would make sense that both got hit less..Their reat fighters(overall)I don't know about them defensively being all that great..Ali yes was great Jones don't know how much I really believe that..I believe Jones was gifted and had the reflexes of a cat,but there is a reason he fell off the deep end before he was too old and without have taken much punishment either..His defense was always suspect bro..Nobody could exploit it,due to his overall talent tho..

I don't consider Roy Jones to have an ATG defense. Despite not getting hit at all in his day.

Without reading back, I couldn't tell you how it got to Roy Jones

Roy Jones and Ali barely got hit at all in their primes.
IMO Leonard was a better defender then Ali and Jones..Oh and I don't believe Bradley is better defensively then SRL either..Noway..

                  Simply had to bump this

Is this the above average-excpetional defence you guys were talking about?

                  I STILL don't see it.

There's really nothing to analyze when it comes to Bradley. He's tough has nails and has a huge heart. That's how he wins.

Ah! Rome AND Saddler are banned! I'll be sure to re-bump it when they're back to see their view on it.

Don't think Dom's on at the moment.
