This is what I don't get,you say Marquez has better defense then Bradley..Yet against a common opponent,Marquez was touch up far more then Bradley..In every one of the fights Marquez had with Pac..Outside of Holt, and I'll even say Pac(in which both cases neither landed a ton)who has land much of anything on Bradley??What do you attribute that to if not his defense??

It's pretty clear Bradley has very good defense..It shows in fights where he had to fight off the back foot..It shows when he had to pressure his man..The dude does not get hit often..Marquez against lesser fighters Kat's Diaz John etc etc get's hit a ton..I can't lie bro,you saying Marquez has better defense is kinda laughable..

I suppose we just don't see things the same.

To me, saying Bradley has an exceptional defense is similar to being in a Twighlight Zone

Here's the thing, just because I'm saying Bradley doesn't have a very good defense doesn't mean I'm saying he has a poor defense.

Bradley isn't easy to hit, I'm not implying he is. But he's not overly hard to hit either.

And I don't think Marquez get's hit as much as you are making out. Did Kastidis really hit Marquez that often?

Well above average, well above, maybe not exceptional but the man knows how to rolls with punches; minimize their effect, he's damn good at that.

Roy Jones and Muhammad Ali relied on thier legs defensively a whole lot but their defense are obviously far better than Bradley's.
Their reflexes might be better then Bradley's..But their defense I can't agree,it's a big reason that they did not fight into older ages and was shot pretty early..Reflex goes and so does their whole style with it..Bradley uses his reflex, but I see more to his game then just reflex..It's positioning knowing when to clinch, footwork and always being strong and moving that head that makes me feel Bradley is very good defensively..

I think that came out wrong and he cleaned it up by saying "I DO Everything Well"

Bradley Does Everything Well And Nothing Great, but IMO when it comes to boxing...THAT IS A GOOD THING! You could say B-Hop was that type of guy most of his legendary career, because he does everything well even at his old age he is still hard to figure out for most fighters

If you think Bradley's defense is better than a prime Roy Jones or a prime Muhammad Ali than that's the point I'm making.

I absolutely do not see that and I find it to be preposterous.

I guess we see things differently, you guys see something I don't.

Bradley seems to cut people 50/50. I know I'm not alone in my thoughts but neither are you guys.

                    bingo.

reflexes are reflexes and defensive technique is defensive technique. reflexes can serve you defensively, but there's a distinction there.

it's wrongheaded to use Holt as an example against Bradley. he came in careless and tightened up that D after the knockdown while still hunting Holt down. he got complacent and wild again in the other bookending round, but he was as faultless and as responsible as an offender can get against a pretty sharp counter-puncher for the bulk of the fight.

still working out this Weezy sadness. will be back.

I don't think so because he made very similar comments in an interview a few years ago along with "I'm not exceptional in any area".

And yes, that is a good thing. It's a very good thing. It's what makes him a Top P4P calibur fighter. I've not denied this.
