sorry by the time I wrote this I saw that froch/ward was in New Jersey

now excluding the froch fight wards last fight out of California was Jerson Ravelo in Georgetown, Cayman Islands lost to ward via L tko8....June 20th. 2008.... ( in his last 11 fights he's only fought outside of California twice)

now im not trynna downplay ward GREAT FIGHTER I jus wish he wouldn't fight in California so much... yuu know? make it easier for a fellow boxing fan to go see him should he be fighting in Texas or somewhere closer lol

Ward is obviously doing something right. Most folks consider him in the running for #1 P4P, and on top of that, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is talking about him, and Bernard Hopkins, after making history, ran over to him, and said he'd never fight him because he's too good. Ward is the ****in' man.

Froch beat Pascal and a host of other good fighters. IMO Froch is a better fighter (accomplishment wise) than anyone at 140, 154, 160 etc. Kessler was highly regarded as was Dawson and others. Remember...before Dre did his thing at 168...it was considered the hottest division in boxing.

I said P4P level talents. All the guys that Mayweather or Ward fight are going to be highly regarded. Dawson at 168 takes so much luster from Ward's W. Floyd would've moved up or not fought him at all, simple as that. And it doesn't matter that Dawson was the dummy who said he could make 168. I'm going to pretend you didn't make that absurd comment about Froch.
